Who We Are

A lifetime of passion for dance

From the tender age of four years old, Tanya Michelle found her life passion in ballet. Apart from the sheer fun of the classes, she formed friendships which would last a lifetime as well as a confidence and grace which makes it easy to spot a ballerina. During her formal school education Tanya took classes in street dance and salsa as well as ballet. Even before completing her leaving certificate Tanya took a transition year to attend Inchicore College of Further Education to advance her dance studies where she studied tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary dance and choreography as well as dance history, kinesiology, anatomy, physiology, child psychology, music, health and fitness. On leaving the formal education system in Ireland, Tanya spent a year in the U.K. studying dance and musical theatre. Back in Ireland, Tanya completed a Diploma in Dance and a Certificate in Exercise and Fitness from University of Limerick. Her teaching qualifications came in the form of a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance in London and a Diploma in Dance Education from The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing for Modern Theatre Dance. She is now a fully registered teaching member with both organisations as well as being a certified Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) teacher. Tanya received a scholarship to attend ImPulTanz, Vienna’s International Dance Festival after which she spent several years teaching dance including a period in Florida, U.S.A. working with young children. She now brings her wealth of knowledge and experience with a high level of dance training to Clondalkin and Rathcoole.
